The recipients of the Korakukai Award for 2025 (12 faculty members and 48 students (24 of whom are involved in academic research and 24 are scholarship recipients)) have been decided, and the presentation ceremony was held at the Nagai Memorial Hall on February 10th, 2026.
The Korakukai Award is presented by the Korakukai Foundation to faculty members who have achieved outstanding results in their research and to students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance at Tokushima University. The award consists of a certificate, a prize money or a scholarship. Established in 1951, this year marks the 75th time the award has been presented.
At the presentation ceremony, representatives from each category were presented with certificates, prize money or scholarships by Chairman Miki of the Korakukai Foundation, and Professor Hosoki Maki of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences expressed her gratitude to the Korakukai Foundation on behalf of the award recipients.
