As a "food support" for students struggling to make ends meet due to the recent rise in prices, 786 students were given coupons that can be used for meals and others at cafeterias of the Tokushima UNIV. COOP. so that they can eat nutritionally balanced meals.
(First distribution period: October 20th to October 24th, 2025: Second distribution period: November 4th to November 10th, 2025)
The coupons were available for use at cafeterias and stores of the Tokushima UNIV. COOP. on each campus until December 19th, 2025.
Students who received the coupons shared positive feedback, such as, "Thanks to the student support coupons, I was able to eat until I was full in the cafeteria without having to hold back on side dishes."
This support was funded by a grant from the "Food Support Project Against Rise in Prices" of the Japan Student Services Organization and a donation from the Tokushima UNIV. COOP. We would like to express our gratitude to all those involved who provided the support.
