On October 26th, 2025, the Tokyo Tokushima Prefectural Association held its 2025 General Meeting and Gathering of Prefectural People at the Tokyo Dome Hotel, with a total of approximately 400 people in attendance, including members living in the Tokyo metropolitan area, as well as notable figures with ties to the prefecture, business leaders and students. From Tokushima University, President Kawamura Yasuhiko, along with the Executive Vice President (Regional Affairs), faculty members from the Center for Research Administration & Collaboration, and staff from the Community Revitalization Division and the Future Creation Office participated, promoting Tokushima University to people with ties to Tokushima and deepening exchanges.
At Tokushima University's booth, participants were given flyers to promote the university, including topics on the university, research into early detection of mental health issues, university funds and crowdfunding, and students job support.
We will treasure the connections we made on this day and continue to expand our exchanges on various occasions in the future.
