Accessibility Leader Certification Ceremony 2024

Tokushima University is a member of the "AL (Accessibility Leader)※ Promotion Consortium," and the Health Service, Counseling and Accessibility Center Accessibility Division is responsible for developing ALs.

In 2024, four students passed the Level 1 AL Certification Examination, and 19 students and two faculty and staff members passed the Level 2 Examination. The Accessibility Leader Certification Ceremony 2024 was held at the Tokushima University Regional Cooperation Plaza on March 17th, 2025. At the ceremony, President Kawamura Yasuhiko presented the certificate to a representative of the certified individuals and encouraged them to continue their success in the future.

Tokushima University plans to continue nurturing human resources who can promote accessibility.

※"AL (Accessibility Leader)" is the name of a qualification certified by the "Accessibility Leader Promotion Consortium" which was established in 2009. It also refers to a person who has a good understanding of the diversity of individuals, society, environments and situations, and who can develop possibilities by promoting accessibility in various contexts.
